Default What the hell is that noise ?

Took my car to the dealer for an oil change. I have two dash cam running whenever the car is moving. While I was looking for another footage I stumbled on the footage when the dealer took my car in for an oil change. You can hear some pretty weird noise, I thought at first that it was the shifter moving but that can't be the case since you can hear that noise while the car is moving. I can't figure for the life of me where that sound come from... the only explanation I came with is that the tech drop four bombs while in the driver seat.

Here is the footage:

Front:
Rear:

Any other ideas ?

Sounds like he's letting go of the shifter while it's under spring tension.

Would you care to elaborate on how to reproduce that situation ? I double checked and it's definitely not the sound the shifter does when it's moved under normal operation.

This is when I arrived at the dealer and you can hear the shifter noise, it definitely doesn't sound the same as in the first 2 videos:

Sounds like you shift the way most of us do. Since you have to push the shifter to the right to move between P, R, N or D, I think the guy is letting it freely spring back to the left each time he moves it. Most of us keep our hand on the shifter so all we hear is a single "thunk" sound.

Thanks for the answer. But how do you explain the shifter moving like this while the car is still moving ?
