Tried my best..but did'nt know it was against forum rules...sorry
If there is anyone ordering for and will use on car with Smoky Granite Mica 1G0 color, I would really like that I could get in on the purchase and get them painted in the same operation , and re-send the to me :-)

For the one dirteeboy posted a link for, it does matter. See Arvid's post for explanation. That style just doesn't fit LHD. Believe me I was wracking my brain trying to get them to explain to me how it doesn't fit
The style you installed and I have but haven't installed does fit LHD. Some of the other Avest styles don't though (replicas of 2010-2012 ls460/ ls600 mirror covers)

I wonder how complicated the wiring might be. Neg... pos, etc. Last time I checked polarity on a set of LED's I fried the light assembly. They were cheap lights, but I do not want to replace these at 250 dollars!

Also, does anyone know if the lights SHOULD go on with the DRL's? I don't want to hook it up that way if that isn't the norm/factory, in the newer LS' that now come with mirror lights.

My friend who wired mine said it was a little complicated. Something about how the lighting system has a small amount of voltage all the time so during a system check it can tell if a bulb is out. He figured it out though. The white light is hooked up as a parklight. Not bright enough to be dtrl. When the signals go on the white light turns off. Then when the signal lights stop after 2 seconds the white light turns back on. That feature is wired internally to the cover lights.

I may just leave the DR/Park function disconnected. Hopefully the pkg will come with some form of instructions or diagrams indicating which wire does what (there are 3 wires per mirror).
I was quoted 200 dollars to paint them from the body shop that did my deer collision damage. I can probably find a cheaper option.
