Default Side windows stay wet for days

I'm loving my recently acquired 2007 LS460 but am wondering about a quirk. After every car wash my drivers window continues to get smeared with water for 3-4 days everytime I put it down and up. I've never seen it last this long or this bad on any previous car. Does anyone else notice this? Could this indicate some kind of bad seal? I only notice on my drivers window. I'll have to check the others.

Just checked- it happens on all four windows. I have it hand washed and this happens even with normal hose pressure spray.

I don't experience that on my 2007. I think you probably do have a bad seal. You could take it to the dealer, but a cheaper option would be to take it to a competent auto body shop.

You probably should have that fixed because water inside the door panel could cause you other more expensive problems.

yes sounds like bad window seals leeting too much water into the doors. Mine are wet only for a few hours after a wash

Mine are wet for about a day. This has happened on a 2008, 2012 and now 2014 LS
