we have heard feedback that they fail in as little as 5K miles . They are mounted on 2 different planes at the chassis and a common plane at the knuckle. In any case they are constantly fighting to locate the spindle.

Well that's not good, hopefully someone comes up with a solution before mine wear out.

Visual signs of cracking, mounting orientation of the control arm being off centered or uneven, clunking noises or looseness in suspension feel depending on severity of degradation...
