Default 2008 LS460L w/ Data Controller and PCS Fault

So I have a PCS fault on my 2008 LS460L and brought it to my local Lexus Dealership....They basically insist that the data controller is/may be causing the PCS fault.

Has anyone ever come across this issue? I have searched all the data controller threads and PCS fault threads but have not seen anything similar.

In the meantime, I guess the most probable action is to disconnect the data controller and see if the problem goes away.....

but if anyone has any other advice or information, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you under warranty? If so, you showed up with that hooked up???? Don't do that if under warranty and you have any sort of abs, pcs, air susp, transmission type of error. They could easily deny warranty service. Just remove the module and see if it clears. I've never had that issue with mine. On a rare occasion my air susp light will pop on for a second if I adjust the controller while in motion..from normal level down to 4 or 5. How old is your battery?
