Default LS Puddle lights

In another post, Roadfrog posted about a new puddle light with the Lexus logo.

I was reluctant, and thought it may be cheesy. Well, I got suckered in to the 25.00 price shipped for all for doors.

When you open your door at night it projects the Lexus LOGO.

Well..VERY cool and it is amazingly clear and quite nice.

As a DIY this is as simple as it gets,

The packaging it comes in is worth the 25.00

Glad you're happy with them! I know I am. Easiest and cheapest mod around and they look very cool.

Can someone post up a little video of them?

Not a bad price. I might get a set. Are they plug and play? I saw a guy in an IS350 a few weeks ago and he had this "im guessing" on his bumper and side mirrors because it had the Lexus logo on the ground in the back and on the sides and he drove. It was a cool effect and made it look at if it followed the car. I dont want to go that extensive but its nice while opening the doors.

I bought these also and had a very good experience. I like them and the logo is very clear on the ground. One of the lights burned out within a week or so. I contacted company and they said they would send a new one without returning the old if I paid the shipping. I did that ($2.50 I think) and about a week later I received a complete repeat of my order (4 lights). Now I have extras and delighted with the product/service.

Are they plug and play?
100% plug and play. Utilizes the car's existing connector and the light assembly snaps in place of the old light.

I just installed these on my 04 LS430 UL yesterday. They were plug and play. Just plug the two leads into the cars connector. The projected image is fantastic in detail and color. Hard to believe that you can get a set of 4 for $25 including shipping! But it's true.

Ordered 2 sets today. They should be here by the time we get home from harvest.

I have a 2011 460L and it probably took me about 10 minutes to install all four. They look great. I highly recommend them.

i didn't order a set for the rear doors as i though the image would be projected up on an angle...can someone confirm how they projectors look on the rear door?

They are a larger diameter of projection but still very clear and does project to the ground as opposed to the car cabin or anywhere else.

The're so easy to install, you could take one out of a front door and install it in a rear door. Then you would know exactly what it would look like in the rear door.

I'd like to add that even on gravel, dirt or uneven ground, the image is laser sharp.
