Default Help! Either LS460 Sport or GS450H

PLEASE HELP!!! I can not decide on either a 2010 LS460 Sport with 84,000 extremely well taken care of miles or a 2010 GS450H with 23,000 miles. My budget is 35K period and I have found both cars available now! I REALLY WANT BOTH CARS due to each having pros and cons but I JUST CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND... PLEASE INPUT REALLY NEEDED.

P.S. I really want to drive both until 200K then upgrade

You obviously have to test drive them both to see which one you like better. No one can choose for you.

That said, you can get a much lower mileage LS for 35k.That seems like a a lot of miles.

Ultimately the choice is yours. If you are looking for a more sporty ride then you might like the GS. If luxury is for you then the LS is hard to beat. But you have to drive them both.

Based on your budget and needing the car to 200k, get the GS. It will stay with you longer and cost less to operate. This will put you in a better financial position when you are ready to upgrade.

Personally I would disagree. I think the 1ur-fse is going to be a lot more reliable than the hybrid drivetrain.

The LS460 Sport will hurt with the brake pad changes (Brembo), the tire changes (19's), and the potential air suspension issues (accepted as the weak point of the LS reliability but seemingly seems to affect the 07-09 cars more).

You also need to test drive since none of the TSBs will apply to your car anymore.

I had a GS 450h to 137k miles....I now have a LS F-sport....

LS F-sport all the way, it will cost more to maintain but it is simply the superior vehicle. The MPG is a big difference, the GS 450h did get the 23 MPG as advertised and I get now 16 MPG in the LS.

Hey Mike thanks for replying and I do remember that you went to 137K as I've seen your posts!!! Yeah I really want the LS too but the GS might be funner to drive! and better gas mileage. I do have kids but 2 are 21+ yrs old and now I just have an 11 yr old so it doesn't matter. I'm going to test drive them today and I hope that clears it up! I also already bought 22" HRE's for that bad boy too

SO THE AIR SUSPENSION IS A PROBLEM??? What about in the Sport model where it should be "beefier" and lower hopefully. I'm definately going to buy the data programmer too (of course!)

I owned a 2013 GS F sport (i know not hybrid) and moved up the LS-F just to get more room and a better ride.

I would go with LS460 Sport over GS450 h....Sure GS might be more fun to drive, but LS is much more superior vehicle with better build quality.

If 6' or taller and /or need the interior space go LS. Otherwise GS.
