Default Cold feet on possible good deal...CPO owners help!

Feel like I've been saying I'm in the market forever but I'm realizing I just get scared to pull the trigger. I've been looking for a 2010 CPO LS460 but have only seen one in my price range out-of-state, which ads to my concerns. Well I see what I think is a possible good deal that's 1000 miles away of course. What do you guys think?

this is a LS460L, the LWB version, do you want a LWB? a SWB version could lower the price a bit if you don't need the LWB.

I think this is a fair deal for LWB, just be careful because it does not have dynamic cruise as they say in the description if those are the right pictures. I paid $41K for one with 43K miles Dynamic cruise/PCS in Feb.

Edit: seems that this is the wrong car pictures because they also say it is Tan interior while pictures are black...

Yes I had been looking for a SWB but I think for a LWB it looks like a good deal

as hfahmy states, make sure the pictures are right, if this car sounds like a good deal, it may even be worth your time to fly out and look at it before you go the next step, or have somebody look at it for you. . .

Since I'm an out of state buyer I will have an independent inspection done before I fly down there myself so I don't waste the air fare. I'm wondering if I can get them to go even lower?

upon further inspection, the wording is confusing. the interior says black/tan which is true (the headliner and upper pillar trim)

it does appear to be the correct car in the picture.

Carfax looks excellent. They probably paid $29,000 on trade-in and spent $3,000 cleaning it up. Offer them $33,000 and see what they say.

Thumbs up

That's a good deal and I would go for it although it's over 1000 miles away. I would also purchase the extended warranty. Beautiful 2010 LS 460.

If I can get them to budge on the price that would be nice and I'll definitely get the extended warranty. I wish it wasn't 1000 miles away, but after an extensive test drive I'll push her up I95 to NYC.

All I needed was a bit of encouragement and I'm feeling more confident getting that plane ticket to hopefully pick her up.

Spoke to the dealer and they said they don't move much off of the internet pricing of 37, 000 but he will talk to the internet manager and see what he can do. I'm thinking I offer 34, 900...good start?
Since August is almost over I'm thinking they may wanna get the sale in, but I don't know much as this is gonna be my first time doing a price negotiation for a vehicle....does that sound like a possibility anyone?

So, this is LWB. $33K for LWB is not even in the ballpark... Edmunds gives the private party sale value at $35.6K, Edmunds price is normally very low. I would say you will be lucky if you get it for $36K. I think they will come back at $36.5K

Default Update #2

Just got off the phone with the dealer...of course I pretty much knew more about the car than him, which he admitted so I gave him a homework assignment to find out the exact trim level of the car instead of telling me about the hid lights and heated seats. He said they won't move off of $37, 000. I told him I plan on getting the extended warranty, although that's a separate transaction through finance, but to take that in consideration as well. So he said he'll call me in the morning with all the details I want and advised to put down a refundable 1000 deposit because it won't last. Sooo LS family what's next?
