So, I would say take the $37k but ask them for new tires. You will not be able to go back if tires are bad. Second step, try to negotiate the deal for the warranty before you go, no more than $1600 for 6/100

Btw, ad still says dynamic cruise! Pictures does not show one. You can play the false advertisement card if they get tough with you

Ok so gus the salesman called me on his cell from "my car" and gave me the run down on the car. It has the mark lev stereo, no air suspension (didn't want the issues down the road anyway), doesn't have the power rear seats, heated steering wheel, and he confirmed it doesn't have the radar cruise. I still want him to send the exact trim level specs tomorrow. I actually wanted to see what the 125 mile warranty was since I'll probably need the miles. Gus did say the tires were brand new.

Lol true! But they can fall back on the disclaimer of not being liable for errors etc...
I'm gonna counter with $36,000 and if they don't budge on that I'll propose at least taking my air fare out of the price.

Yeah, carfax says the tires changed on 10/13, 12k miles. Your best bet is to get super deal on warranty. Agree with putting down payment. Btw, this car look dark gray not black to me.

Do you want to extend the Certified warranty beyond the 3 years 100 odometer? If you should sell or trade it it's not transferable and Lexus Prorates the extension from day you take ownership rather than after the original Certified ends. You may be able to buy it before it ends.

So he said he'll call me in the morning with all the details I want and advised to put down a refundable 1000 deposit because it won't last. Sooo LS family what's next?

I'd ideally want to extend it to what ever year combo goes with the 125 miles, which I believe is maximum.

Looks like the car has a somewhat extensive service history at the dealer that is now selling it. I would ask the salesman to give you a detailed description of all the entries they have in regard to this car so that you know what it's been through.

Yes I plan on it. I printed the history from lexus.com and have a few questions. It seems to have been kept up with regular maintenance at the suggested intervals.

Still waiting on Gus the salesman to complete another homework assignment I gave him. I went through the service records and asked him to get the details on anything I wanted clarified. He said he will even try to get me on the phone with one of the service guys since the car was serviced and purchased through them. So still waiting...

So, according to autotrader this is the cheapest certified 2010+ LWB with less than 60K miles in the country. Next one is at $39K. I would say if you don't jump on it, don't regret losing it.

Ugggh ...i know! I plan on jumping on it for $37, 000 if they don't budge hut I saw another with my 1st choice color combo but he also says they won't budge off of 39, 222. Its also not CPO so I would have to go for the extended for sure if they went to 37, 000 it would be a hard choice even with it not being a CPO. What u guys think?

no comparison: 1. sold in an auction; 2. not CPO; 3. $2,200 more...
