Ok here is the deal. I called about 20 Lexus dealerships. Almost all of them will not sell a warranty out of state now. I called all mentioned on this site. Not one would even talk to me about a Lexus warranty. Several tried to sell me a aftermarket one. Even the Lexus dealer in Houston tried to sell me one by AUL. So I went ahead and bought one from Debbie King. She even discounted it a couple of hundred dollars. Being that I have 94K miles, Several dealerships told me they could not sell me anything because I was out of state. Complete coverage $0 deductible for a 07 LS 94K miles 3/36, I just glad someone would sell me a Lexus warranty.

Well, I guess you do have 50% more miles than I did, so the price may reflect that. Good luck, and may your control arm bushings fail catastrophically (so you get your money's worth)!

So I have learned that the VSA can only be sold with you in the dealership -- Lexus initiated this rule as many were finding better deals from other states. I have found that to be true also, as I called several of the names mentioned on this forum. I am not about to take a plane ride to sign a piece of paper. I understand some of the clients are traveling form NJ to other states to sign a VSA. If you are in NJ (or the surrounding area) call Joe Marino at Ray Catena Lexus at 732-493-5000. He will do his best to help you.

All done by email and snail mail. I had until end of this year to decide if I wanted the extended warranty. Glad I did not wait and have problems like others have now.

Our 85 year old friend got her 2010 LS 460 factory 4 year warranty extended for another 4 years or 75,xxx miles last September through Lexus of Shreveport all via e-mail and snail mail for $1,8xx. Cannot think of the guys name right now but I gave him a call to see if they could do it and he said sure no problem have her give me a call and that was all it took.

I've posted about this several times but some people seem to glance right over it (to their own detriment). The person's name at Lexus of Shreveport is Toby Rivers and you will be hard pressed to find a better deal. I live in IL and bought an 8y/125k mile Platinum VSA for my '11 460L with 32k miles (during the time of purchase) last Aug/Sep. for ~$3500. Not a bad price for essentially 90k+ miles worth of driving.

I bought this car less than 1/2 yr ago. Now Lexus advisor just told me that I need all control arms for the front and everyone know it's big bucks. I know for sure mine is way the hell out of factory warranty. So i called up Endurance, they get me another 5yrs/54k mi for $3400 with $100 deductitble. They also break it down to 19 payments for me. I had to get it bc i know how relible the Ls460's brake actuator reliabilty and its cost.
What u all though about my decision? Any here have been dealed with Endurance extended warranty before? Please share ur though. Thanks a lot

I just bought my warranty from out of state. Hesitate to say where because of restrictions on out of state selling.

Yes, but what about the brake actuator??? That can be shot anytime too. Let cross fingers and hope they pay for it. If not i will cancel it
