Just bought a 2016 460L. AWD. The drivers seat will not go down as far as the passenger seat. I am 6'1" and my head is touching the ceiling Lexus field tech looked at car and said its normal that they all are this way. Is there a fix? Help please.

Ask to see another car to see if "they all do that"!

Did you have this issue in the other LS cars you test-drove before buying this car? If not, then there is something clearly wrong with this seat. Perhaps you have an upright sitting position that is contributing to the head bump. In any case, at 6-1, this should not happen to you. The driver seat should be more adjustable than the passenger seat.

I second this. My brother is 6 ft 2 and has no issues.

Thanks for your reply. I actually never test drove the car. I bought it on the basis that my 97 LS460 was so comfortable i was sure the new one would be better. I think this issue may exist because of it being an awd ?

I did actually ask to see another same model and sure enough it was the same as my car.

Well, if they truly are "all like this" then you may be SOL. For safety/liability reasons I don't think anybody is going to fabricate new drivers seat attachments.
