Here's the problem.

I have the 2007 exec model with the rear seat entertainment.
When I put a DVD movie in the FRONT DVD player, with the parking brake set, I get video and no audio. The only audio is coming through the rear headphones. All other output works through all speakers (AM/FM/CD/mp3 cd HDD).

If I put a DVD movie in the rear DVD player, I can play audio through just the headphones OR the entire audio system, but can only view the movie on the rear screen.

I've tried toggling the "speaker output" on and off by sitting in the back seat; this doesn't help me.

Of note: today I added the Prestigious Society NAV override as well as the Vaistech USB/ipod control. These are working as advertised. Also, to isolate things I've unplugged everything and I'm sitting with the car running with the car IN PARK with the parking brake on.

I *should* be able to see and hear a DVD movie that's inserted into the front changer, correct?

Only setting I can think of is the "enable surround" - will try turning that off and report back.

*edit* MORON alert. It helps if you plug ALL the blue wires back into the radio...
