Seems like this configuration is pretty rare. Is 26500 with custom rims (8k for the rims alone supposedly) as good a deal as it seems?? I won't be out in that city till next week but wondering if I should look at it?

Not my style. What is with the chrome pillars, blacked out tails and appliqués that they have stuck to it. The wheels look a little big...almost truck tire ish. They took the clean and classy out of the car!

I would make sure this car has not been tinkered with as for suspension, engine, stereo modifications. If so, run! There are a lot of good clean NON modified cars out there.

Did you see the car in person as yet? Somehow that's not looking like an executive package. Executive package only comes in long wheel base, the car in the pic looks like a standard wheel base.

I personally do not care for those types of cars. I want classy looking. They have stuck things to the paint, the pillars, and put rims on it that look cheap in my opinion.

That being said, the calipers are painted, which leads me to believe it is someone who knows a bit about these cars. I don't see the average person painting their calipers without knowledge of the car. Of course they could have just paid someone to do it, but it does have me wondering if it isn't someone on here or someone who knows their LS. A VIN check to see service history is very necessary for all cars.

I would look on auto trader if you are looking specifically for the executive package and be prepared to travel. As they are a rare animal, you may have to travel to get one. But get the VIN and do a search of the service history of the vehicle at secure.drivers.lexus.com

Yeah this one looks a bit odd. It's in Albuquerque Craigslist for those of you in the area. I'm in the twin cities so it would be a haul to get there and back. Not looking for a project. ..

Everything about that car is terrible. $8k for those wheels? I wouldn't pay $800 for them. Find an unmolested LS and mod it yourself with your choice of mods and not someone else's.

The pic makes it looks short but the listing does state it's a LWB. As far as the wheels go, they're Forgiato Andata and they got for around 4-5k plus tires. Check it out and report back to us if its indeed a short or long executive.

There are better choices of LS's on the market. I would avoid that LS because it could have suspension and other issues due to the modification.

For a point of reference I bought a 1 owner 2007 Exec Metallic silver/grey with 44k original miles, all serviced at Lexus for $32.5k.

my 2007 exec had 14,903 miles and was $39K before i added Platinum warranty. for reference, this purchase was in december 2013.
