Default 2008 LS 460 wind noise from front windows

I have a 2008 LS460L and the front driver's and passenger's windows have wind noise, sometimes worse than others. I also drove a 2007 which experienced the same problem. thankfully it is still under warranty, but not sure if there is anything which can be done. not sure how a car with doubled paned windows can have so much wind noise.

anyone have the same issue?

I am having the same problem but it's not from the triangle piece by the rearview mirror. Mine is from the gasket surrounding the front driver door window. When I put the window up, the window folds over a part of the gasket toward the top edge causing the wind noise. If I hold the gasket back and put the window up, no noise. I've tried re heating and forming the fold but no luck. I'll be buying a replacement from Lexus which is about $90.

is150 I have also done the jmcraney fix and have, at this point done everything I can to prevent more noise except replacing all of the window seals/gaskets, but I too have also had this piece of the gasket fold in and I can't seem to "unfold" it. . .oh well

It's called LH (Drive side) Front window run part: 68151-50020, I need to buy one my self just been procrastinating but I will get to it this month. The job is not a quick one due to removing the door panels etc.

I did the craney fixed combined with bumping down window and it did wonders. However after it rains I hear more wind noise than usual until the seals dry up. Why is that?

I found a weird fix that ended my wind noise.

Silicone grease.... you can find it online or at any dive shop.

Used a Q tip to apply it in the window track and now the window closes and seals perfectly.

hey Tee, you mind taking some pics while you're installing the new seal and posting a how-to?

Does it leave a gunky residue on the window?

Inside the track? Sides and top? In the groove where the window slides?
Thanks,
