Thumbs up Traded my 430 and picked up a 460L

I have driven the LS in some for for the last 15 years and have put hundreds of thousands of miles on these cars. They are that great. My last LS was an 02' 430 UL that I picked up in September of 10' with 100K on the clock. I paid $12,900 and drove her hard. Just traded her with 225K miles in on this 08 460L.
I may have overpaid a bit for the 460L but it was exactly what I wanted. Color, trim, and clean inside.
I paid $29.5K CPO and they gave me $7000 for my trade. My car needed CATs and O2 sensors etc.
The 460L has 50K. It was a one owner car. I picked her up in Egg Harbor NJ. The dealer was great.
CPO financing can't be beat.
The only things I miss from the UL are the Dynamic Cruise (I used that feature every day) and the kids miss the controls in the back seat for AC

Nice car! What year is the 460L? Did you pay $29.5 before the $7k trade or after it?

Congrats, you'll love the change. I went from a 06 430 to a 08 460 & couldnt be happier.

I just the other learned the other day The ls460 had the easy auto close doors and just smiled lol.

Given the car is a CPO from a Lexus dealership (Lexus of Atlantic City?), that's a fantastic deal! Happy trails!

As pleasure turns to pain.
Took the car for a PA inspection over the weekend and the shop tells me she needs upper and lower control arms. Nice.. 900 miles after the 161 point inspection. WE
I take it to a local lexus dealer (Thompson Doylestown). Tech tells me there is no way the car should have passed cpo inspection with these bushings.
I called lexus of Atlantic city and the service manager says "wow...I never heard of bushings going bad on these cars"
bull$ hit..
I call my salesman and he says we will pay for your next major service.
I say nope.. give me 25,000 additional warranty coverage.
They are pushing back. I told them that I can't wait wait to take the survey.
Crazy.. if I wanted a car that I needed to inspect I would not have bought a CPO.
the service manager told me he had his master tech certify the car.
my response "your guy either is incompetent or lied when doing the inspection".
Now I drive an IS for 3 days...
sucks.
