do they provide more or less light?

i know it's not an HID, but for the price of 35.00 or so, its a cheap fix to dingy golden colored fogs.

Also…any error codes?

HID kits are $25 shipped on ebay. My 4300k matches my headlights perfectly

Just don't want to be tapping into wires.

I don't even turn my fog lights on since I hate they way they look compared to my headlights. I was thinking of switching out the bulbs, but then I thought there were things to wire or error codes to worry about.

So you are saying that it's just a simple bulb swap, and you are done, and no error codes? If so, sign me up and please provide a link to these bulbs.

Thanks.

I wouldn't call that plug and play. To me plug and play is just a straight bulb swap but just my opinion.

If thats your stand then you need to just get some silverstar 9006 bulbs. If you want the benefits of HID you need to put in a little work. The newer hid kits are even more easy than my DIY. I can install hid kits on an LS in less than 10 minutes. Literally No wire splicing to where new kit pieces use existing pieces to connect to is called plug and play. Why dont you do a youtube search on HID install and see how within 15 to 30 minutes for a newb or so you could be posting pics on your new fog setup. It is one of the easiest mods you could do besides putting in an air freshner
