Standard wattage for a 9005 halogen..It will be fine..you might be disappointed in how yellow they will still look. Unless they have improved their silverstars. Post pics when done

When using as high beams, it should be fairly white looking, not sure what the kelvin rating on these bulbs are.
However, when the DRL is on, they will still appear somewhat yellowish as it is only operating (being fed) at about half the wattage at best.

If you don't want your DRL on, try to turn the DRL off by using android app (Carista - approved vendor here) for 9.99. This app has many other settings as well. I used it and it worked wonderful.

Thanks for the replies, I've gone though mods spending countless $$$ I just want a small upgrade better than what OEM standard is. The newer 2014 looks great but with spending $$$ for now I went with the 2011 off lease. I'm a previous "09AMG S owner and have to admit this is a better riding car than my S. I just don't know why the engineers didn't put xenon in the DRL's the only reason why I could possibly think is bottom line cost
Again if they are better than the OEM then I will be satisfied, I'll post shots

Found this thread on google trying to see what they'd look like in my '06 IS350. Definitely an improvement over stock, even if it's not as good as HIDs.
