A friend of mine is looking at this 2 owner LS460 and he ran Carfax and Autocheck reports on the car.
Autocheck came out clean but Carfax reports there was an accident with the 1st owner but not sure when it happened and air bags did not deploy.
But the weird thing is Carfax still rate the car $1000 above retail price. What's up with that???

Don't know. But have him take it to a competent body shop - they can tell you exactly what was done and how serious the accident was.

Neither! Clean carfax/autocheck does not mean that the car was not involved in an accident but if it shows an accident then definitely the car was in one. Take it body shop for inspection and tell your friend to get the deal of his/her life. They will hit you hard for this accident if you try to sell it one day.

Call the dealership where it was serviced and see if they can look it up and give you some information on it.
