Correct me if im wrong, doesn't the LS460 have an electronic power steering system that doesn't require fluid?

I may do the brake flush plus I think I have to do a coolant flush as im getting a "running water" sound from behind my dash and sometimes when I have the heat on it blows cold.

Does anybody knows the LS460 brake fluid capacity? I want to change it. P/N for the brake fluid itself would be much appreciated

I've never even heard of a brake fluid capacity...never thought to look for one, I'm not sure if that's something even listed. I just fill it up until it reaches the full mark on the brake fluid reservoir. I think the fluid capacity isn't the issue when doing a brake flush, getting all the air out and exchanging the fluid until it appears clear out of the calipers is what I worry about. When you hook up a brake bleeding machine to a car there's so much brake fluid those things pump into the system, you're going to exchange all of it and then some...then just add or suck it out from the reservoir when you're done.

Man, you guys are gluttons for punishment! LOL. Why not just pay Toyota to do it? By the time you buy the bottles of quality fluid etc, you'll not be far from the cost of Toyota doing it. I'm a staunch, die-hard DIY'er, but this is not a job that's worth tackling....at least for me. Plus, they'll use Techstream and get all the fluid flushed from the brake actuator.

In this particular case it's not about the price. First of all I just like to do it myself and I have teachstream and going to use it. Secondly, and most importantly I simply don't trust them not for the task I am asking but in general. Sometimes they might intentionally do some "damage" so you come back to fix other issues. Of course I don't say "all of them like that" but it happened to me a couple times and I not feel very good to leave my car to such people unattended (by me).

They likely to use pedal to bleed front wheels (as by instructions) and I don't want to jeopardize the MC --I use the bleeder that connects to the MC from the top.

Overall I agree this hassle is not worth it, but I just like things like that when I have free time
