Default Throttle Controller a Hoax or Valid?

Here's the link to this item, and I'm wondering if this is something that could be helpful?

To answer your question, it's "valid", and various companies make the throttle controller for the LS460. Essentially it makes the throttle more sensitive engaging at WOT with less pressure. Doesn't add any true HP, just quicker acceleration assuming all other things stay constant.

This sounds like a potential fix to the lagging I get when I put my foot down, but this probably won't help all that much if it's the transmission holding the car back with it's seeming unwillingness to downshift. . .

Awesome and thanks for that CJITTY. if this doesn't leave traces that it's there like they claim, then maybe this is something that can be installed while still under warranty.

i'm going to have to look into this to see if there are any other similar units or used units as $400 seems excessive for providing really one function.

I have no issues when using PWR button. If that isn't enough, try turning off the traction control completely. I find it to be very responsive then. hehe

As I should have done yesterday leaving a stoplight! I spun the tires in 1st, which held the car back a bit, then it threw it into second to protect itself and then spun the tires going into 3rd again!!

lol

IMHO, I wouldn't be afraid of the TOM's throttle controller.
