I can back you up there! I'm 6'3" and recently went to the "IS Drive - Lane Changing" event and was sorely disappointed with the interior room

But let's get back to the good stuff in this thread, your Hybrid!

You will love gliding around silently through your neighborhood, mall, wherever you are going less than 25 mph!! lol

The IS has absolutely NO room. I'm 6'5" and I pretty much drive from the back seat in most all cars. My daughter is 6 yrs old, poor thing cannot even dangle her feet behind the passenger seat. It's tight back there. The 2006 had the least amount of room.
Ah I See. I haven't seen a DVD like that from ceiling in a sedan. that is awesome! When I travel to Asia, cars (executive sedans) have the DVD for rear passenger in the headrest..or by the back rest.

I am certainly no that tall so having two child seat in the back of me or two adults is no issue.

Makes sense now...

Can't wait for pics!!!

Pardon my ignorance..

My CT200 hybrid, when in electric mode, though is quiet on the outside..makes a weird submarine noise..its quite embarrasing

Is the LS600 completely quiet?

Yes..unless the AC is on..then you hear a fan but inside is dead quiet when gas engine is not running. At least my 2008 600 is this way. Due to safety concerns for pedestrians, Toyota/Lexus added that buzzing sound so the car can't roll up and tackle unsuspecting pedestrians from what I understand. Not sure if the newer 600s do that when the gas engine is off or not

That buzzing sound is more embarrassing than bringing a BBW to a Hollywood Movie launch party or I guess since we are on a car forum, its embarrassing as bringing a CT Lexus to a VIP LS party

The minute I take my foot off the brake, submarine "my car is a $5 Hyundai excel from 1988" sound starts....

Hard to tell from this picture. Are you sure that the dealer sent you a picture of the car that you are buying? The space at the back looks like it's from the SWB model.

If a KIA shows up, they won't be unloading it from the carrier!

I'm sure, it's an L, long wheel base

Not to mention the fact that 600's are only available in LWB in the USA.

Europeans have the short option...

This is definitely a 600hL..the back door and window are longer than the front. The hybrid side badges and led headlights are visible and the wheels are 600 std equipment. OP..don't worry lol

ive never heard the buzzing sound on mine (its super quiet) i sneak up on my neighbor's dog all the time while he's laying in the middle of the street and the horn but tackling pedestrains seems like it would be even more fun like Grand Theft Auto, lmaooooooo
