i might try this. always wanted to change my unlock door settings and turn off the auto open trunk (cool feature...until you need to get to the trunk during a downpour). however, i just lived with it because i know it will be at a cost at the dealership....

FWIW, this Carista app is the real deal. For a grand sum of 20 bucks you have a device to customize ALL of the options you can with Techstream AND a diagnostic tool. I place my ELM module in my glove box so I always have an OBD tool at hand. Plus, it's dirt simple to use and takes a mere minutes to change whatever settings ya want. ALSO....you can use it in ANY vehicle, not just our Lexus'.
Just swap your 9005 hi beam with a led that has 4300k or 5k color and that dingy yellow goes away..there's a thread on it

You know if you press the button again, you can open it manually. Saves time when you are in a hurry.

FYI
Tried this on my 2010 LS600hL, works like a charm and so simple to use! Highly recommend this if you want to change settings.

Gonna try it in the RX350 as well.

Did you go with 4300 or 5k Tee?? Also, do you have a link to the ones you bought?
