I tried to make an offer with this guy for a quick sale, but he wouldn't deal. He claims he has lots of interested parties, so we will see.

I'm trying to keep the budget to $1200-1300 for wheels and tires.

225 is a good price per wheel and there are 4 in one place. The tires will cost 800 so you want to buy the rims for 125 each and with respect that is is less then they are worth..

Offer the guy 900 including delivery and go for it.

The car drives better with the 19 inch wheels and it corners better and they look great! You will be glad every day that you did.

Do not forget you still have to buy a spare!

I bought Continental DWS tires I loved them.

Those 600H wheels look nice also!

Good luck!

I know of a chrome set with Continental tires for $800, but it's about an 8 hour round trip drive. I'm not going to be able to find the time to do that for a few weeks, so I doubt they will still be available.

That's a good deal. Where is this person located?

I think the hyper silver rims look better and if you scuff them you can paint them..just my opinion...

I feel the same way, but paying $300 per wheel for reconditioned alloys is going to take up a lot of the budget. I might lose the Vertex front lip because of the wheels/tires costing $1600-1700.

hello Sir, I just wanted to say thank you for your post regarding a 19" wheel on a LS460/600HL

I just bought a set of 19" F-sport (new style) LS460 wheels. I would like them to fit and look like they are just inside the wheel well. Would you suggest I go with a 20mm in the rear and a 15mm in the front or would that make them flush. I live in Michigan and don't want them to spray snow and salt all over my car is you know what I mean, therefore I would like them to be just inside the wheel well. You knowledge and expertise are appreciated. Steve

I have them on my car now and I loves them. They need spacers to look flush but since it's temporary wheels im not going to spend the extra money.
Your car looks so bad xxx!

Your quite welcome. My recommendation is run spacers for 3 seasons and remove for winter. Salt and mag chloride is bad enough. You don't want all that salt on the spacers which may make removal more difficult from hub. I've lived in snow climates with other cars and the oem hubs and oem wheel backpads get some corrosion. If it was me, I would also use rustoleum flat black bbq grill spray for your hubs and calipers. Its rated for 800-1000 degrees if im not mistaken. It will add a layer of protection and looks good. Just tape up the lug studs first. I did this on my cars in MN, SD and CO and never had rust issues on hub and back of wheels never had issue either. 15mm front and 20mm rear on my 600 looked perfect and still in line with fenders if you have a 2007 to 2012 body. Good luck! !

Robo, I've been looking for the F-sport wheels, unfortunately I cannot find them on the secondary market ( only as new through Sewell). Where did you find yours?
