Default Just got a LS460

I just joined the club and got a CPO 2008 LS460 with Comfort Plus package and ML with 36k miles.

It feels good to be out of my BMW and into this Lexus (what a relief).

I'm kind of worried about the gray interior getting dirty, but lets see how that goes.

Sounds like a good find! Which color is it? I just got one with the same grey interior but I had to clean it myself. Whew, what a job! Let's both hope it's not too hard to keep clean. That Lexus may not be as exciting as a BMW but it does a great job of doing just what its designers intended.

Congrads and welcome I went from a Me/Bz to Lexus and the only major thing I missed was the ability to use the Nav unit when driving. I bought a override from Prestigious Society so I could use it while driving. I just bought a new LS and I am testing the NAV to see if I think I need to buy a new override kit. You might want to check it out. (I installed it myself btw)

Question To all LS460 Owners

I am having an intermittent problem with my headlights... Sometimes they go off when I open my car door... Sometimes they stay on when I open my car door and NEVER GO OFF ! They never seem to stay on for a minute and then go off... If they stay on, they stay on... I took the car to a dealer who checked all of the switches on all 4 doors and said they all worked OK... I still have the problem... What Now?

Is this car new to you? Or is this problem a sudden onset problem with a car that you have owned for a while?

Congrats. The more you drive your LS the less you miss the BMW handling trade off.

Welcome. amit. I too came to Lexus after 25 years of BMW ownership. The maintenance headaches I experienced with my last e38 swore me off BMWs forever.

Dude, start your own thread instead of hijacking the guy's intro. Jayzus, some people.

I hear you! I bought a 2011 CPO LS 4 weeks ago with the alabaster off white interior. Beautiful, as long as I can keep it clean. Best advice I have heard is stay after it with a good leather cleaner and don't let it get very dirty to begin with. Hard to do in cold, wet weather, tho.

I just found out my car has the automatic parking feature, cool! I'm still getting the hang of it.

I wonder how useful it is in real world situations...
