Default 2009 ls460 front suspension noise when hitting small bumps

I have a 2009 460 awd with adjustable suspension and when making a right turn the front left side makes a noise. I have had the dealer look at it 5 times or more but each time I am told that there are no problems. Now that the weather is getting colder it is becoming more pronounced. Any ideas?

Damn...so next would be mounting points for strut assembly. Also check for caliper rattle..sounds crazy but my old 460 rattled like crazy over rougher roads at slow speeds but went away as I braked...come to find out my pads were rattling around and it was fixed with the pad retaining clips that were not installed along with some type of high heat rubber filler type of stuff on the back of the pads to keep them solid and my noises went away

Was the rubber filler stuff a Lexus OEM part ? Think I might be having the same issues

My Lexus mechanic had some available. Its some type of rubber cement made for high temp..just enough to create a cushion of filler against the pad and caliper. Instant fix and noise went away. My car also didn't have all of the little caliper clips installed..he put those in too. Try driving slow over some rough roads..i really noticed it over some abandoned railroad tracks here at work..as I passed over around 10mph, I would brake and the rattling instantly stopped as the pads pressed up on the rotor

Default Thanks

Oil change coming up soon so I will repeat the process maybe they can find something this time. It is annoying to drive with this unresolved problem.

Having issue exactly as described. Noise when at sub 50 mph speeds. No noise when braking. Is there an official name for this part/compound? Mechanics refuse to believe its in brakes. Control arms etc all ruled out. Thanks much in advance. -Robert

of course it is not, it is likely the guy just found something to fill up the gaps give some cushion. not every the noise will be caused by the same situation. a car this old. i had noise (i always have noise we have ocbble stone here go fast enough everything rattles inside and outside lol) so my problem was that one lower control arm that doesnt have ball joiint... i intend to change those bushings with PSB bushings...more immediate problem is the driver's side outer and inner tie rod end. Which you can find online some place for 50-60 a piece factory party new... if you want to pay less rockauto has lots of other options.

Thanksfully the per hours rate in ukraine is hilarously low.. if not owning this car i the US or canada would be a pain... but if i was there i would have a garage and I would do my own work... so u know....
