Default 2007 ls460l "lexus lemon"?

Am I the only one that has experienced an unusual number of major repairs on my 2007 LS460L? Starting with having to replace both left and right rear struts. My cost $1969.53 for right replacement, Lexus replaced the rear.at 49,000 miles. Next the Pre-collision System and cruise Control at 57,000 miles at a cost of $4200.00. Lastly, just learned that the Brake Actuator has to be replaced at a cost $3809.00 at 93,000 miles.

There is a formula for each state I think...x # of repairs or attempt to repair with no resolution in x # days etc...research your state's lemon laws..don't let the dealer tell you the law..

Default 2007 LS460L Problems

Since those are non- power train items, which would be covered under 7/70,000 warranty, I think there are no lemon laws that apply in any state.

this is why you need to have a warranty on a high end luxury car. Did you extend the warranty?? Sorry to hear about the drama. That would be a deal breaker for me.

I think you're alone on this one. I got a 07 with over 100k with no major issues

my 07 only had 3 issues since I got it. One was the nav went out (fixed under warranty), the other was blowing factory sub (my fault but fixed under warranty) and the other was a braking issue that took 5 months to resolve (also fixed under warranty). Since the, I've been trouble free with 78K miles.

My 2007 has 65,000 miles and not a single problem (just the 3 recalls).

I'm curious, what happened with your Pre-Collision System?

Sorry to hear about your LS. Have you thought about just getting rid of it and trading it in?

The 07 was a first model year and parts and tech on the LS are not cheap and nor are they simple.
