Hey guys, looking to spruce up my White 08 LS 600HL with some wheels. My first thought were WALD M11C Forged wheels, Wald Recommended 21's. That scared me a little, they I looked at Savini SV23C wheels with a White window. The guy at Savini recommended 22 inch wheels.

What are everyone's thoughts for 22's? The wheel manufacturers say that the car rides so nice, its not going to be an issue. I know with that narrow of a tire, the ride may be rough as well as bending the rims will be much easier.

Can anyone recommend a wheel & a size? Here is the Savinis I was looking at:

Those are nice rims I wanted to get those I like the design of concave plus lip. Just remember to go 245/295 or 255/305 or 265 all around since our 600's are AWD. Many of us are running 22's and loving it!

I would do a 295 in the rear. to carry the load, plus a little sidewall. I ran a 245/and a 295 on my first set but went to 255 after. looks better. Is your 600 AWD or RWD

All 600s are All Wheel Drive with a Continuous Variable Transmission. For staggered on the 600, 255/30/22 front and 305/25/22 rear are ideal for the 600 because overall diameter is the same height to keep AWD system happy, very important! Please see my post above and build thread link in my signature for more details on this topic. 255/30/22 tires are rated for 1521 lbs (95 load index) each and 305/25/22 are at 1929 lbs (103 load index) each for a total of 6900 lbs, which is more than plenty to assume passengers and cargo. I use Delinte Thunder D7 tires and had them all shipped to my door for $575 front and rear and they are great tires, very pleased with them...plus, only a couple companies make the 305/25 size.

For non staggered (wheels all same size) 265/30/22 is a great size for the 600 weight and close to overall factory diameter. They are one off from the recommended load rating at 97 instead of OEM 98, but four 265/30/22 tires are rated for 6,496 lbs..more than enough

Lots of data here, but research that wheel and tire thread. Many of us have already taken the guess work out for you. I'll ask again, have you looked at the wheel and tire research thread?

They are wrong on this, way wrong...will they fit..sure, but are those the right sizes for the 600, absolutely not. The 600 weighs nearly 700 lbs more than a 460L....
you can listen to them, or listen to those of us already running the right setups on our 600s and have 100% success..your choice. Full disclosure, I ran 245/295 combo for about a year on my 600, but had to run high tire pressures to make up the difference to maximize the load. 295/25 have a 97 load rating which works, but the 245 for front is needed to match overall diameter which is too low at 92. sold the tires and went with my new 255/305 combo and it rides and looks much better now

Dude !! Had no idea 600hL was AWD with CVT. No wonder its so damn heavy. I cant imagine what a CVT feel like with the LS motor.

So I have 3 different opinions on sizes but I think I would lean toward CJitty. There is only one post on that link thats a 600 & he claims 255-30-22 all the way around....
I'm still on the fence but does anyone have any opinions or experience with Savini?
These are going to be $5500 bare & thats an "alleged dealer cost"
Any thoughts?

Where did you buy your Delinte tires? I have found the 255-30, but not the 305-25

Not true, I posted in that thread along with LXurious, RodT and Farming and we have 600s. There are two full pages of posts, gotta take your time and look at each post as the vehicle model is listed..

Farming has a 600 and he is running 255s without staggered fitment. 265/30/22 all around is a better tire choice for non staggered for the 600 (in my opinion) as the load rating is 97 for that size and our 600s require 98, but the 97 is close enough. the 255s will work too, but hold less weight than the 265s. the 265s also give just a little more cushion as they are a little taller.

As far as 305/25 Delinte, I ordered mine from a wholesaler here in ATL but I know that Ebay has them all day as well as Vittore Wheel and Tire out of NC. As far as Savini, you must be getting forged versions because Tee has Savini's and they were nowhere near that much, more closer to $500 per wheel in 22s.

I got a 5k qoute with tires. Shop around more but they arent cheap

I see all these posts & they are all different sizes. I guess I still am confused with what to do. I think the most cushy tire would be what I prefer but?
