Quick Intro
I've been trawling this forum for the last few months and thought I'd finally register and say hello from sunny South Africa 
I don't have a Lexus LS yet, but thanks to the awesome info on this site, I'm really keen on getting myself a LS460 next year some time (possibly 2007-2010 model). I already own a 2007 IS250 - mainly used by my wife and is my 2nd car. However, my current daily is a BMW M3. To be honest, I am a huge BMW fan - on my 7th BMW now but been a long time admirer of Lexus. So next year is definitely going to be a year for change for me when it's time to give up my BMW as a daily driver and try an alternative. Would love a ISF, but sadly they did not sell well in this country so they are extremely rare to find as used buys. Also, the roads around me are really bad with potholes and poor surfaces so I'm leaning towards something a bit "comfort" oriented.
The inspiration for my forum name comes after test driving a LS460. It made me feel like the captain of the Starship Enterprise: James T Kirk - hence JTK
Don't have any questions (yet) but wanted to start with a big thanks for all the guys and girls that post info on the forum - the reviews, DIY's and opinions are certainly useful.
Can't wait until next year when I finally have the opportunity to start shopping around for my LS.

The only girl I remember here on this section of the forum was very famous on twitter and she had got a steal of a deal on a fully loaded executive equipped LS460L .. her twitter posts didn't mention much about her LS, but the back seat was for sure..."utilized" looool...youuuuu knowwwwwww
