Default Brake $ervice.........

I'm about to do my brakes at dealership, what have y'all paid for your last brake service?
Should I consider Toyota dealership to save?

Default Brake $ervice

I recently replaced the disc brake pads on my 2010 LS460L AWD. It is an easy-to-do project. The pads and spring parts cost about $200 total, well below the $800 being quoted by the Lexus dealership.

My Lexus dealership quoted me $300 for front brake service on my '11 LS460 SWB. The Toyota dealership quoted $205 for the same work using Lexus parts.

Or try independent Lexus shops. The shop I go to are all ex-Lexus techs. They charge me 100 per oil change vs 350 at the dealer and said my brakes would cost around 200.

Well it was for the "45K or 50k" maintenance. When all they do is pretty much change the oil.

I was quoted $160 at my Lexus dealer in Atlanta for a 35k mile service. Basically an oil change, tire rotation and checking out the car.

When I bought my CPO LS460 the dealer threw in 6 oil changes for free.

I get all my cars tires rotations done at r local Kaufman Tire shop. I buy lifetime rotation and balance for $72 ($18 per wheel at Kaufman Tires). Last week I got a low pressure TPMS warning and found that I had a nail in one of my SC430's tires. I went in and had it Patch /plugged and all tires rotated and re-balanced and brakes inspected for free.

If you buy your tires at Discount tire or SAMs club you will get those services for free.
