What is the Best year for the LS460
I have a 2007 ES350 and I will be upgrading to a LS460 or the LS460L.
Which years have the least issues.. I know I read the earlier years and a wind noise issue.
I will be buying one that is a CPO for sure.
From what I'm reading here it seem like the 2010 and newer seem like the winners!
Thank you guys so much in advance.

Other than the sound quality of the radio, I agree that the 2010 would be a good year. They turned down the bass response on the 2010. That was a shame as I thought that my Mark Levinson radio in my 2009 was outstanding.
If you find a CPO that is still under the original 3yr/36k mike factory warranty here is another thought. After negotiating the price, tell them you don't want the CPO and ask them to deduct $1,500 that it costs them to purchase the CPO warranty. Then call Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota and price a Lexus Platinum warranty. You can choose all the way up to an 8 yr, 125k mile option. Use the $1,500 you saved opting out go the CPO warranty towards the Platinum policy. The advantage is, if you sell your car before the Platinum warranty expires you get a prorated refund of your premium. Another advantage is that the Platinum is transferable if you sell your car privately. With a CPO warranty it expires once the car is no longer yours and there is no refund.

When I bought my ES350 I was able to get a platinum warranty with 0 deductible..
I only have 3,000 miles left on it. Im one of those that MUST have a warranty that's why I'm looking to upgrade to a LS. If I could get another Lexus warranty on my ES I would keep it. My ES has been a great car but I'm coming up on 135K so I know there's no way to get another Lexus warranty.
I will keep Jerry number for sure!

I would say just find the car with the right color and options you want at the price you want and buy it. It doesn't matter which year it is, they're all good.

I would say 2010 and up since most of the common LS issues that were TSBs were resolved between 2007-2009. 2009 may be pretty safe but the wind noise, seat discomfort issue, aux jack problem, and transmission shifting into neutral at a light have all been fixed before 2009-2010.
Just like any car, avaoid the first year or two of production since they have inevitably the most teething problems
