Crankshaft position sensor.
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I bumped this post from the "VSC" section. Last Wed. parked my car in the driveway and everything was fine. It's a 2007 LS460 w/ 98K miles; JTHBL4XFX75035333, Thursday morning, I experienced no crank w/ "Check VSC have vehicle serviced by a Dealer" error. I tried touching the key fob to the start switch and clearing the code with the reset/start button but neither one helped.
The headlights come on/work normally as do the door locks with the key fob. Everything was fine yesterday - no dash lights, started great, no issues... I replaced the battery on this vehicle and bought a crankshaft position sensor after getting codes P 0335 and P 0336 in my scan tool.
Can someone tell me where crank sensor "A" is located? Any other advice on this issue? I hope I'm not the only guy who has seen this.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's an update.
This was caused by a bad starter motor.
I took the car to the Stealership and $1,850 later it is running again.
The part was $908 ($280 at Rockauto.com) and the labor was another $900.
Those guys are outright theves...
Needless to say, I'm both offended and underwhelmed and this will be the last Lexus I ever own.
