R.I.P. to Sapphire (LS460)
I can't believe that on the anniversary three years ago (a friend reminded me) that someone totaled my LS430, now another person on the HWY did it again crazy! I need to make sure I'm not driving on April 5th three years from now cause its starting look strange ok so on with what happen.
I’m cruising to Home Depot in Conyers on I-20E doing 60 MPH in the middle lane of three, out no where a young girl in a black Chevy Impala loses control of her car in the fast lane spinning hitting me twice on the driver’s side, the side curtain air bags deploy, I’m trying to get control of my car but could not recover and went straight through the guardrail resting in a muddy ditch. The alerts in the car are going nuts, I’m trying to get my mind right then someone opens the door asking was I ok and at the time I was like yeah I’m good. I got out looking for the driver that hit me, a witness said after she hit the median wall, she turn her car around and left! A good Samaritan took off after her in their car to follow her until the police pulled her over, she tells the cops that "I know I was in a accident but did not know I hit someone." Really??!
Here’s the kicker she has insurance too! I have no idea what made her leave the scene of an accident, she will have time after she gets out jail to think about it. I went to get checked out that night, now just dealing with a bruised knee, soreness and stiffness in my left side of my neck, arm, shoulder and back. I said it once, I will say again the LS is one safe car to be in if you are in an accident minor or severe. It did its job which I’m thankful for and to the man upstairs that I yet again was able walk away from another major car wreck. Far as my car it’s a wrap, she is done! State Farm will send an adjuster to look at the car sometime this upcoming week, yesterday I went to get my personal stuff out of the car and took some pics.

the only word that comes to mind is "WOW". as i posted yesterday, glad you're ok. The chic that hit you is a straight dumbass. knew she was in an accident but didn't know she hit someone... that's a first, never heard that one before. looking forward to a "look what i picked up today" and a new build thread.
