In other words... watch how you word things.

HAHAHA, yes.

The new 2013 interior is very nice but, except for the addition of the spindle grill, I find the 2013 exterior to be virtually identical to the 2007-2012 models. A fellow named Black Dynamite recently said in a post that Lexus is planning to do a FULL, COMPLETE LS EXTERIOR redesign for the 2015 model year.

How would he know this? Is he a Lexus employee? Is this just a guess or does anyone have reliable information to back this up? I view a new LS as a major purchase so I would be very grateful for the answer. It will very likely influence my purchasing decision.
Do not trust a word he says, as he's a notorious propagandist. I'd take a guess and expect something by the end of next year or mid-2015, but you can't be too sure. 2016 is just way too late though, as the overall LS design dates back to 2003-04 and the current one will be 9 years old in 2015 since debuting in 2006.

Judging by Lexus standards(face-lifts debut same year as next gen. design is approved), the next LS was probably frozen last year and would be due in 2 to 2 1/2 years for production. No Lexus models(except the LFA) have sat on ice for up to 3 years since the 1993 GS. The original LS was approved in May 1987 and production started two years later in May 1989. It was face-lifted the same year(1992) that the 1995 model's design was completed and that came 2 years later in November 1994.

Hopefully the same will happen here, as the '13 model appeared in 2012(+2 = 2014), so maybe it's coming in 2014 for the 25th anniversary.

From my understanding fall 2015 as a 2016 model. LS F to follow after (not F-sport, a full blown F)

An LS-F sure would be cool. 2016 seems like a good time for a new LS.

Now that I think about it, a 25 year anniversary all new redesigned LS makes the most sense. If 1990 was the 1st model year then i bet we'll see it in 2015 sometime...i cant wait to see how they will respond to the new S-Class' major advancements.

A new LS is indeed not far off in the future. But that's all I'm gunna say.

That stupid spindle grill is what gave me pause from upgrading. Not that my '07 isn't perfect but every once in a while I get the munchies. But this latest "new" face lift was ridiculous IMHO.

just upgrade to a 2012 and enjoy that for 3-4 years until a good car comes out.
