My 09 LS460 on 22' Vossen CV3's
As you know, i had been on the hunt for a set of wheels for my car. This past Saturday i was scheduled to meet up with a guy and buy his CV1s, but he cancelled on me and gave me some lame excuse that someone had died in his family, etc, etc (i think he probably knew the wheels were bent or damaged and i would not buy them when i saw them).
That being said, i passed by on Saturday by one of the wheel shops to get my tints done. I told my gf to come with me so she could see the wheels i was supposed to buy from this guy. So she walks in with me and sees them (she was probably more thriled to get wheels on the car than i was lol) and we started to price out wheels. The sales guy said to look at the CV3's for my car. We were kinda like hmmm we are not sure (not to mention i was not trying to pay 3 grand for wheels) and so he started to look on google for images of my car with the CV3s on and we simply couldnt find any. He said, he had NEVER does these wheels on my car, but regularly did CV1s on many cars including a ton of Nissan Maximas
We weren' really convinced on the wheels because there weren't enough images to really say wow we love them.
Anyhow, i said (again, i wasn't tryng to buy wheels from anyone after what had happened)
" here are my keys and do my tints, we will be back to pick my car later"
My gf says, "i really want wheels on the car.. I said, yea, but three grand? no way"
Long story short, she says "take me to the bank, i am going to buy them" and well, the rest is history.. She gave me the wheels
Thank you CJITTY's and Adam for all your help. I walked in the shop knowing exactly what size wheels and tires they needed to install and have not had any issues with them (except for the very slight vibration i feel around 65-75mph which they will try to re-balance my wheels/tires again tomorrow) but besides that, they look phenomenal on this car. I really like the LS600 healights with the wheels. I don't feel that i have lost much ride quality and i dont have any rubbing of any kind..
What a wonderful girlfriend i have!

Thats why for light interiors I go 15% all around and for dark interiors I go 25% sides and 15% rear..the tint is dark enough for my taste without attracting extra looks.
TintDude.com is a great website with a forum about these things if anyone is interested.

Wheels look great. I would suggest some coilovers to drop that down just a touch. Tanabe drop is very nice too and rides great, but you can't adjust for road trips or things like that. Or just put aftermarket air suspension on there and call it a day!
As far as vibration, ensure the wheels have hub centric rings in ALL 4 wheels. If you still have vibration, then hopefully you have a place in FL that can do high speed on the car balancing (balance finishing), similar to what I did here in ATL on my 460 about a year ago...now I have these on my 600 and the wheels are still balanced with no vibration. Now, full disclaimer..they were able to balance the wheels perfectly without actually adding or adjusting weights with the procedure below. But, this process spins the wheels up to about 120mph and factors other rotating masses like rotors, bearings, etc. I heard they can even smooth out slightly bent wheel vibrations using this method. The car sits on a stand that is wired to the machine he is sitting on to detect vibration. They place a piece of white tape and use a strobe light on the machine he is sitting on to detect imbalances. They do this a lot in Europe. It costs about $150, but they discounted mine and charged me just a little more than a regular balance since no finishing was required.

If that is springs and install, that is a good price. If not with install, then I suggest getting Tanabe's for $250 to $275 new. I have a guy in Orlando that can do the spring installation for under $300. Let me know, I can PM you. I didn't think HR made springs for the 460 to be honest
