I was doing some searching on the site and it seems like most, if not all shave the rear and roll the fronts. I was curious if people did that while having 22's on stock suspension. I plan to bag my car in the future but after how much the rims are setting me back, it probably won't be for sometime. So I want to just slap the wheels on. If I do have to shave/roll the fenders, does anyone know any place in So. California that does a good job? And, how much does it usually run?

Yeah I went through that thread and there were a lot of informative posts. Esp about the tire sizing, thanks for that! But it was still a bit confusing since some people said theirs rubbed and some didn't.

It comes down to offsets, widths, tire sizes, tire width, tire brand, and every car is different. People can have identical setups with different results. But it will help you get a baseline at a minimum. glad the info helped you out, hopefully you will find that sweet setup

I paid $100 to shave the rears, spray primer, and cut/ tuck part of the rear liner. $200 to roll the fronts, cut the hard inner plastic liner up front, and touch up the paint due to some cracking...( turned out the cars fenders were re-painted before and they did a bad job). I'm still rubbing a bit though lol #datlowlife

Stock height you really shouldn't need to shave. I actually didn't need to shave my rears until I stepped up in tire size and I'm lowered. You're gonna have to just do it and find out.

I was planning on going 295/25/22 for rear and 265/30/22 for fronts. I just wanted to make sure because I figured if it did rub, I would have to get it done before I install the wheels. It would suck to install, find out it rubs, take it off and then do the whole process over again. I'm new to modding so I plan to take my car to a shop. So it would be even more work to keep going back and forth.

It's all about the wheel offsets my friends, lowered or not. If you can tell me that I can tell you if you're gonna rub or not. Those tire sizes should be perfectly fine with regular offsets.

I believe the offset I was going for was around 22x9 +18 front and 22x10.5 +23 rear. I asked a member about his offset on his set of rims and wanted to get around the same since I know absolutely nothing about offsets. Thanks for all the help.

Defininitely need to roll/shave for those offsets and tire sizes.
