I think the OP may have it mixed up, the extended warranty from Lexus cannot be purchased if the car is over the original 4yr/50k mile mark. For Lexus to provide the CPO/extended warranty on a CPO car it is different as noted above.
I believe you are right that it is up to $1,500. I have a good friend in the service department and besides the CPO cost, they actually charge the used car department for any repairs/services provided which is reflected in the price of the car which is why the prices are typically higher.
For a dealer to certify a car for CPO costs money to inspect And bring up to specs. It also costs the dealer real money to purchase the CPO warranty. Up to last year the dealer cost for a CPO warranty was $995. I think it went up to $1500 this year
Tires need to have at least 5/32 left or all tires would need to be replaced. All brake pads must have more than 50% left or a full brake job must be done. If you add cost of tires, brakes, inspection and warranty that could easily add $4000 to the dealer investment.

i just came back from the lexus dealer and the mechanic made the adjustment to the lights and well...i am very dissapointed with LED LIGHTS.. the dealer is willing to swap them out for the original lights, but i am going to see if anyone here is interested in them in exchange for their lights and cash.. I see these puppies on ebay for 2 thousand dollars so i am sure someone here probably wants them. They look amazing to say the least. They give the car a beautiful look, but i am simply not a fan of their brightness.

I have had both an LS460 and now an LS600 with the LEDs and I can tell you the LEDs light up the road just as good as the HIDs. I think there must be something wrong with the swap. Either they aren't aiming correctly or maybe they aren't compatible. I don't know but whatever it is it doesn't make sense. Maybe they are the lights that have the advanced PCS in them and it affects it?

Seems like you're the second person on this forum to show off an LS460 with the LS600 headlight conversion done successfully.

(Hopefully soon I'll be the 3rd)

Seems like a voltage/current related issue somewhere. Other than the aimimg, i wouldve had the wiring checked thoroughly. Im quite sure LED wiring is quite different than HID mainly because HID uses a transformer with different specifications than the LEDs which has to do with input and output voltages and amperes. Hope this helps you or Adamls2 if or when he purchased them. :-)

The button is there on the left side of the steering wheel. I have the 2008 and I sometimes turn off the beeping when I'm in a narrow drive-thru that has plastic orange cones to keep traffic in a tight lane.
