Default 2007 LS 460 L Bluetooth Button Not Active

I am trying to pair my phone and on the Settings screen the Bluetooth and Select Phone buttons are not active. Has anyone had this problem or know how I can get my phone paired if the Bluetooth button doesn't work?

Are you aware that all these functions are locked out while the car is in motion? In other words, you must do this setup while the car is stationary.

Yes, I press the INFO panel button and touch Phone on the screen. My next screen has the Bluetooth and Select Phone options and neither are highlighted or active when touched. I wouldn't even try this from the passenger seat when someone else was driving.

I don't own a 2007 anymore so it is hard to give you specific advice. Some of our gurus will likely enter into this conversation soon and help you out.

One other piece of general advice I can give you is: it takes two to tango. Be sure that the Bluetooth feature on your phone is turned on.

I went to the dealership and their technology specialist and mechanic had never seen this and couldn't fix it without pulling the unit and going through a step-by-step analysis. Sounded like it would cost as much to find out what was wrong as it would to fix. Opted to do without hands free and bluetooth.

Very strange issue, thanks for updating your thread.

Did they try pairing different phones?

I have the Samsung s5. The problem is not the phone, the problem is the Bluetooth tab on the touch screen does not work.

Pardon me if you already know this, but do you understand that the Bluetooth key is not accessible (grayed-out) while the car is in motion?

I've never tried it while the car is moving. Surely the Lexus techs are aware of that point.
