Default Please Clarify

Unless I missed something, the original post did not mention what year LS400 he had? Also, are you talking about adjusting the factory air "adjustment arms" while also using an aftermarket controller or just by itself?

I have a 98 LS400 and I dialed mine all the way down a few months ago and i got a nice 2" drop from the factory system. One strange thing is... no matter how much I play with it, the drivers' side is still 1" higher. Any ideas out there? Hiroshi

Default Factory Air Sus update

It is not rocket science to figure out, and I am sure I am not the first to try this, but...in order to get the car as low as possible using the OEM adjustment arms you have to get the arm lower than the factory settings will allow. I made a short bracket for each corner which effectively moved the arm position about 1/2" lower and the results are obvious. Only problem is the car rides like crap since the air bags are almost completely deflated - but I expected that.

I was hoping that in this position I could cheat and use the "Hi" setting when I want to return the suspension to a more driveable height but that didn't work. So, this mod is not ideal but it sure looks good and as long as the bags don't blow...I'm happy with it. Cheers. Hiroshi

Default Ride height issue

It only takes a small move for the car to lower a lot. Took about an hour of turning, checking, loosening, retightening and checking again before I got it to where I wanted it which was about the same as 4 on the module. Raises to about stock height when the high height button is pushed. I've since resolved my module issue, so I set everything back the way it was.
I'm planning on doing this to my newly purchased LS460, was wondering if (without data systems controller) the sensor will react to my adjustments the same way. I tried adjusting the length of the rod between the sensor and the mount point on the lower arm, but didn't notice a height change. Should I wait longer? Should I adjust more?
Thx in advance.

I has a 2013 model and I think Data System is the easiest and most affordable way to go. It took the gaps out easily. Might be a little slow, but, how often do you adjust your system from extreme low to truck height?

what is the module number?

I hear their is a wireless remote model of some sort.

I don't want to see the unit. I prefer it to be as integrated as possible or not visible at all.

thanks

The model number unit is ASR681 with harness H-087i for the LS460 (2013 at least, not sure about others). I got the main unit sit in the glove box and the wireless unit sit in the center console. Everything is out of sight.

I have learned that for a 2008, there is no wireless option available. Bummer. Guess I'll have to do the glove box install.

My wired data controller does the job just fine..cheaper too. Wired version works with 2007-2014 and most likely 2015 models, contrary to what vendors will tell you. I have personally seen the ASC680L work in two 2013 LS F Sport models

Found out today I can take my car to Lexus get them to trick the factory air suspension. $375

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, let me know where I should.

Saw it on one in their showroom with 22" Vossen. No wheel gap at all.

Couple days later when I went back to get a pic, it was gone, sold.

I think its for newer years, not for my 2008.

Is there any newer updated info for this topic?

Was thinking of buying the lowering links but I don't need more then a o.5 inch drop in the rear and a 1 inch up front so maybe they are not needed?
