Just had my Lexus LS 460 L stolen!
I work at a hospital with cameras and security guards. I have the same routine, same days of the week, park in the same spot everytime i go to work. This day the one camera that usually watches my car was stuck in the down angle for 4 hours and when it unstuck my car was gone. There was no broken glass and the key fob stayed on my belt loop the whole 12 hours I was at work. They found it behind a Used tire shop with some body damage and all 4 x 22 inch rims/tires gone. Everything inside the car was gone (laptop/headphones/clothes/sneakers/ DAD Garson shift ****/ DAD Garson rear view mirror...). I wanna vomit. Does anyone know a great lexus repair shop that will do insurance claims in Las Vegas Nevada?

Really sorry to hear about that man...I wonder how it was stolen though....how extensive is the body damage? I'm sure there are reputable body shops that can repair it.

THAT SUCKS!
You posted back in July that you bought a new key fob on eBay and somone was going to come to your work to program it for $85. Coincidence?
I wonder how difficult it would be to clone the FOB with the right tools.

Yes, that's definitely something to look into. I was under the impression that the car was programmed to the fob, not fob to car.

I hate to say this but I would bet those same goon security guards have friends with flatbeds..thats why no broken glass. Flatbed thefts are a big issue for high end cars. But that hospital has to have footage in the garage exits and entrances along with the grounds..might be able to review footage with head of security unless they are in on it too. These folks cased you out for a minute. This is why mobile app lojacks are so vital..you will no instantly that your car is moving without you..good luck with whatever you decide to do going forward..that sux dizznick for real

SAY WHAT? Your paint was ruined by sand during a trip or trips out West? Is this a common occurrence or a freak event? Does insurance cover it? How do you avoid it? Do weathermen give any warning of sand storm conditions? Can you "go around" it by taking the Oregon Trail or whatever the modern equivalent is? Thanks for any info you can provide.

So you pay for upgrading your laptop to the latest model instead of letting your insurance company buy it for you? Hmm...different strokes, I guess.
