Default Gone but not forgotten. LS460 was a great car...

I guess the "boring" bug got me faster than I expected. I had planned on giving the LS460 to the wife and getting a BMW, but she informed me last week that she loves her G37 and would have no interest in the LS. In the meantime, BMW is offering $3500 cash(after you negotiate your best deal - so I paid a few hundred over invoice!) toward the 2013 models so I took the opportunity to get a new 2013 BMW 535i.

I'd like to thank C.J. and Tee for all their insight and help with the ins and outs of the LS. I learned a lot from their experiences.

Here's a few pics of the new ride:

you did a great job on the bimmer, im sure many might say enjoy the nightmares, but I am eyeing the 6 series grand coupe myself as I am sure the bored bug will hit me in about a year or so. any plans on wheels I like the M package on it. I must say that the previous model was my favorite and I was not too far of getting either a 550 or M5 just couldn't find the one I wanted and the price. But good luck and stay in touch and you might have to change your name to dallasbmw......... yeah!

After owning BMWs for over 25 years, I gave up on the marque.

You'll be back...

Glad we could help. Enjoy the new car. I do have to ask if you have an extended warranty. I suspect you and your new service advisor will be great friends..hopefully not though! Sounds like a great deal

Thanks so much! I can not say enough about just the joy of driving this car. The HUD and selective suspension settings work so well. I'm like a kid in the candy store

I have till the end of my 4 years to decide on extended warranty. This gives me a chance to shop different dealers for the best deals. As for my SA, I've known him since 2006 when I took delivery of my 330! Which I ordered in April and received in May of '06. Since then I've had three BMW's and their service is out of this world!

I truly wish you good luck with your BMW 535i. I don't want to say that you will need it. My last experience with BMW was a nightmare. I hoped they fixed the fuel injectors in the 3l turbo, mine was in the shop six times in the shop just for that in the almost three years i had the car.I test drove the new 5 series and felt it was too much 7 series for me. I test drove the '13 LS F-sport, and found this version was not boring with enough sport dynamics for me. Guess I went in the opposite direction than you!
