Default Trunk will not open

Has anyone ever not been able to open their trunk? Neither the remote key or the button under the dash will open the trunk. Help Do I need to reset something?

Many owner's have told us that they have successfully dealt with this by disconnecting their battery. I am confident that it is not necessary to disconnect the battery - usually just lifting up on the trunk lid vigorously will open it.

Here is some more information that might be helpful: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...procedure.html

I had that problem. Nothing worked. Took it to dealer and they told me motor was messed up and my car was still under warranty so I got it replaced.

have you checked the position of the interlock button inside the glove compartment?
