For the factory unit, would/did you look into the types of units like the JBL MS-8 or other type of processor that will work with your factory setup?

I've found that the limitations on this system (i.e. too short fields for XM with no scrolling or direct tune, very limited screen formatting - I really don't need 80% of the screen dedicated to 6 preset buttons) are really annoying.......you'd think that a Japanese company MIGHT have some software developers that could actually design something more functional.......

Reviving an old thread because it was the best one to show me how to remove the OEM sub. What a PITA that was. Hope to put an after market sub in its place. This subwoofer doesn't look all that great to me. Not sure I see the appeal of it. Will update when I get it replaced.

Default Factory sub issues

I have a 2008 ls 460 l and the factory sub does not work I wanna know what size is the sub is I also have the mark levinson sound system could I put a aftermarket sub in there
