i think i'll top out around 10k... BUT if they REALLY look good..an i know no one else is gonna spend the $$$$ i can see me topping 15k.. (but thats retail... cost is always cheaper)

WOW....... I'm definitely at entry level. $2k rims and tires is about as far as im going to spend and have done so many many times because i like what i like and don't need to be the first on the block with the newest of the new but if some of you ballers wanna hook a brutha up.... and as far as the JDM thing thats a whole nother category. Hey if you got it and don't mind blowing it go for it but for us lil guys trying to look big it just aint happening.

Whenever I hear those brands OP named off, I already know that I wouldn't pay more than "x amount" for those wheels. In my mind, I think all those brands OP mentioned have their own ceiling price, and quite frankly, there's just slight degrees of separation between them.
For me, I guess I'm more of a purist in this sense, that when it comes to Japanese cars, I tend to only shop for Japanese parts/wheels, with the exclusion to some European brands because we have a 5x120 bolt pattern now. I guess you have to "pay to play", but on that same note, "it's all about who you know".
