I believe that the only location that is definite is that the top number is for the spare. This has been a frequent topic on the board given that other manufacturers identify the positions of the tires relative to the readings. Seems to make little sense to me to have a TPMS system give a readout and then have to hunt manually for the problem tire when the technology is out there.
In your situation, I would think that a tire with 22psi would be visually different than the rest.

damn one tire at 47 and another at 22?!? That would drive me nuts!!! i would go to your local tire shop and have them even out all the tires to the recommended PSI for the tires (should be 35-ish for stock tires I think)

I have to say it is disappointing that the display doesnt tell you what tire is having the issue. Even my wife's old 06 Acura TL would tell exactly what tire was doing what. In my case I know the first one at the very top of the list if the spare in the trunk

The one that's 22 is the spare..
I figured out my cars Sensor sequence by bringing up the scree, leaving the car running and with the window down so I can see the screen, put air in a tire & writing down which number moved for thst tire..it doesn't take long & then leave the paper inside the owners manual.

The pressure reading gauge on the dash was never intended to tell you which tire is low or high...if it was it would tell you like how it tells you which door is open. It was intended to just give you a picture of how your pressures are across the board. If one is off that's an indication to check them all. So...tire pressure gauge is the answer

I've gotten very used to this, having it for 5 years on two different LS460s. That being said, it's an annoyance that justifies complaint. The technology required to show which pressure goes with which wheel position is very 1999 and probably would add about $1 per wheel, if that.

thanks all for the feedback.I would expect a car of this stature would have the basic technology to identify the tire pressure

The way Lexus handles how to show the order of tire pressure reading is stupid. All what it takes is two bits to define 4 tires and anything else would be the spare tire. What is so difficult about it Lexus?

On my GX 460 Premium, you get no display at all. I'm sure you get a warning when a tire is low, but no display of tire pressures...
