when they broke in they tried to take the navigation ,but the couldnt get it out destroying the unit..............now insurance wants to put a used unit in wtf

nothing is wrong with used your nav wasnt new so cant expect them to buy a new one. as long as it works and there is nothing wrong you should be fine, any ideas how they got in??? something to look out for??? good luck bro.

That sucks. That's insurance for ya. They don't want to pay out any more than they have to. I'd try to fight for a new unit. Tell them it's electronics and who knows if the used one they are going to put in has a shorter life span than the one you had. There's no way to prove it unless you get a new one

well, even if you take your car in to get the nav replaced under warranty, lexus corporate will only pay for a refurbed unit.
