Default Lowered AWD - anyone do it? Mine sits HIGH!

I would love to hear from LS460 AWD owners who have lowered their car via links or the Data System air suspension controller.

How low did you go?
How is the ride quality?
Any issues or regrets?

I am curious as to why the AWD model sits so much higher in the front vs the RWD models. Did Lexus think people would be fording rivers with the AWD model or did they raise the front for improved suspension travel and drive shaft angles?

I want to lower my LS460 AWD approx 1.25" front and 0.50" rear. Has any successfully adjusted the ride height sensors to achieve this type of drop without buying the Skipper lowering links or the Data Systems controller?

the front doesn't go as low as RWD cars, though -- i still have at least .5" to go before the top of the fender opening is flush with the top of the tire (and this is on super-low mode on the data systems controller). the rear can go as low as RWD cars though, since the design is the same, i think

I always wondered if it was just my angle of view or if my car sits high in the front but now it makes sense.

RedRacer, if you wanna go lower, you'll need to pick up the Youzealand SS Kit to make cheez80 jealous

run this link through google translate: http://youzealand.net/parts/hybrid/

it's ¥350,000 (as of this morning, that converts to $4,243.45 USD) for labor/parts only, i think -- you would have to send your original suspension in.

Ok thanks 4 the 411 Cheez! You gonna do it??? I believe in spending a lil more for that perfect ride!!! Especially if I'm going to be riding low, or would you say "you're content with Data Systems"??? I think level 6 looks good on 22s n if we're only talking 1/2 an inch lower then $4200 is not really worth it....

well, it would be $4200 + sending your stock suspension to central japan hahaha. with that youzealand setup i think you'll be able to slam the car. i'm waiting on brianlin (who has a set for his 460) to install his
