Pictures Of My New Toy
2007 LS 460 L with 19,000 miles. Sorry about the horrible sun glare on the exterior shots. My camera settings were way off for the exterior shots.

Really Superb !
I also love the BLACK interior !!!! Hides all of those nasty "spots" over the years ....
in the meantime, it looks so Elegante'.
Hard to find in my exterior color.
Nice choice ! Congrats !

I was in love the second I sat in it. As for what I paid...I actually feel like I got a SUPERB deal, for all the options the car has and given the ridiculously low mileage and the 4 brand new Pirelli tires. I paid $40,500 (current NADA retail is over $53K for this car equipped with these options)and it's a Certified Pre-Owned, so I have the peace of mind that the three year warranty brings. Honestly, I really wasn't even in the market for a car, as I didn't want the payments (my other car is paid off). That said, I felt it was simply too good of a deal to pass up.

I purchased it at Lexus of Watertown (MA) and they had it listed for $47K, which I thought was an okay price. Just for kicks, I sent them an email and told them I'd buy that car for $40K out the door. It was intentionally a low-ball offer. Within two hours my phone rang and the woman I talked to said their bottom line was $40,500.00 (the "rough" trade in value is $42K and the "Retail" on it is $54,500). I couldn't get to that dealer fast enough. I'm still stunned a Lexus dealer sold this car for this price. Then on top of that, I got 2.9% financing (which was better than my local credit union could do). It's definitely the best deal I've ever gotten at any car dealership in my life.
I'll sell the car in three years (when the warranty expires), and with any luck, probably still get about $5K less than I paid for it. We shall see. In the meantime, I'll enjoy it. On another note, the Service Manager at the Lexus dealership did confirm today that the new LS would be rolling out in the next 6 months. He said the LS is the next car to roll out after they unveil the new ES.

I completely understand what you're saying. My dream car was a bit more specific (which I thought made it an impossible task). I only wanted to long wheel base. I only wanted the executive seating package, and it absolutely had to be black on black, or I wouldn't have purchased it. Honestly, I think it all worked out because I really wasn't looking.
