Thank you TEE greatly appreciated! And for Grisik thank you for answering my question. Since im in NY I should be looking at roughly $600 service including the oil change! Thanks again guys for your input and knowledge! :-)

You should try to save some money and buy your OEM parts online and just pay the dealer for the labor, the parts will be cheaper than the up charge at the dealer.

Nevertheless ..... I asked my top notch Automotive Shop today about this. This answer below is based on computer-based labor time factors. The cost SHOULD BE - for spark plug replacement - using quality irridium plugs (DENSO Part # 3453 {#FKB20H} Iridium Long Life Plug) APPROX. $ 190.00 or possibly a less. (This estimate assumes spark plug cost @ $15 ea + 8% Sales tax).
I hope this helps you or someone else someone make a wise choice when they need this service.
PS - Of course ....... LOL ! ...... For this price ya don't git a car wash nor do they offer to walk your doggie for you.

Has anyone replaced the plugs on their '08 LS 460? I've got 80K on min and I think I need to replace them - it's a little slower than usual starting lately. I haven't taken the time to check this yet, but:
How many will I need (I assume 8 but I used to have a nissan with 2 plugs per cyl)?
And are they going to be difficult to reach (usually the back ones on a v8 are a pain)?
Should I do with the Denso long life iridiums? Or is there something better?

I just ordered them, but I just looked at the car and it looks like it will be pretty tight in the engine compartment replacing them. Anybody know if there are any tricks to making it easier?

I put these in my 4Runner and I will be putting them in my LS when the time comes. I have a friend that works at Napa and I get a good deal on them. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/product...er_iridium.asp
