Really nice pickup, that's ultra low miles...I thought I was doing good with my 08 with 20k but 11k is a tremendous find.

P.S. once you've modified one car it doesn't stop believe me :-)

Actually, the car was not a CPO- though that warranty would have been great to have. I paid $39k for it from a local dealer who specializes in low-mileage high-end cars. In fact, I bought my latest Porsche from him with only 8,000 miles on it and it's been a real gem- flawless! I have every expectation that the LS will prove just as good. This guy is a real straight-shooter and a pleasure to do business with. His cars are always magnificent, low mileage Lexus, Porsche, BMW, Benz, Audi and Land Rover. The CarFax and service histories are always clean and the condition like new. His prices (I think) are fair though non-negotiable.

There's an '08 LS460 CPO at my local Lexus dealer "marked down" to $40k (supposedly they HAD BEEN asking $46k) but it has 40,000+ miles and isn't nearly as nice or well-equipped as my '07. So like I said- the CPO warranty would have been great, but not for that money!

The ONLY thing I've been able to find amiss on this car was the left front corner of one of the belly-pan aerodynamic covers had caught and pulled down on something in the road. The body shop quickly tucked it all back up neatly and secured it.

Interestingly to me- even the clear protective tape "covers" were still on all 4 of the "Mark Levinson" stainless emblems on the door speakers. They had never been removed until I peeled them off! LOL!

The car has had regular oil changes and service (about every 6 months or 2000 miles according to Lexus service history) and a couple of recalls all taken care of by Lexus of Manhattan during it's 52-month lifespan. While the doors were open for 2 hours getting the nano-ceramic tint done we discovered the battery (original 52-months old) was wearing down quickly so that was checked out (and was indeed going bad) and replaced with a new Interstate Mega-Tron earlier this week. Tires look like new, though I would love to have Michelins. Not going to spend the $1k to do that though; kind of pointless when the tires on it look like new.

I'll try to snap some photos tomorrow in the sunshine, but in truth- it looks like every other Obsidian LS460 on the planet except for the dark glass!

I'll start a new thread with the pics,

Steve
