I had the same issue with my LS when I got it. There is a TSIB on it. They reprogrammed something in the ECU I believe. All I know is that it made a big difference. The idle is still smoother with the AC on because of the higher rpm, but it helped a lot. I would tell them that there is a TSIB.
Now that I think of it , I am pretty sure the TSIB may have been related to a hesitation issue with the LS when taking off from a dead stop. There is a solution to this

Seems that mine is an odd one. The vibration starts, pretty hard, at D and without pressing the gas pedal, then go away when accelerating. Can anyone work out this issue? When at D, RPM is around 500. At idle, it's normal.

Yes, this vibration drives me crazy. Wort thing is that people make laugh on my Lexus, comparing to my Mercedes which is completely still and much less expensive. Anyway I keep hope that Lexus engineers will find a solution.

I was just sitting in my 13 ls awd with the car running and in park for 15 minutes. RPMs were at 9k. Every once in a while I felt a vibration come through the lumbar. It looked like the RPM gauge moved ever so slightly when this happened but was not very noticeable. Is this normal to you all? I have only put about 250 miles on the car since I purchased it as a certified end of Dec. Car has 37k on it.

Some say that the throttle body needs adjustment for the sensor or replacement of the sensor . .
